Saturday, April 18th, another edition of Warm Feeling took place. However, this time we decided to do good and raise funds for our feline friends. Thus, Warm Feline.
Tremendous thank you to the following folks that helped make the show possible:
- Ruth, Irene and everyone at WFMU for having us and making us look and sound good.
- Natalie, Mary, and the rest of the team at Pad Paws Animal Rescue for allowing us to hold the event in their name and for all their hard work helping cats find love and safety.
- Erin and her crew at 7 Souls Tattoo for pitching in and creating flash tattoos to also help raise funds for Pad Paws.
- Laura Mac for her overall support and for helping get everyone seated for the show.
- Jason Messeri for using his cinematography skills to capture the night.
- Mike Weydert for sharing his photographic talent with us for the night.
- Joe McAndrew for creating the outstanding Warm Feline advertisement and tote bag design.
- Steve Pocaro for coming out to support, on his birthday nonetheless, buying a twelve pack for the homies, and intro’ing me on stage.
- Nick Fierro for helping brainstorm the show and delivering not only a fantastic set, but a transformative performance as Turpentine, the resident Monty Hall cat.
- Jessica DeCanto for decorating the stage and for an amazing set.
- Danny Braff for helping book the show and for being my one and only funny Danny boy.
- Bonnie McFarlane for masterfully headlining the show and for putting up being stuck in the green room while Nick evolved into Turpentine.
And of course, a special thank you to all who attended and donated. Without you and your contributions, the show would not be possible. A lot of cats and kitties will be living cushier lives soon.
